Job Summary We are seeking an Automation Machine Design Engineer responsible for the mechanical design and development of custom automation equipment, assembly machines, and vision inspection stations.

The primary focus of this role is machine concept development, 3D CAD design, motion system architecture, and full machine build support, working closely with controls and vision engineers for system integration.

About the Business Segment Ennovi’s Industrial segment powers automation, robotics, and energy storage systems enabling OEMs to achieve AI‑powered manufacturing for Industry 4.0.

Main Responsibilities Machine Design (Primary Focus)

Develop machine concepts based on process requirements

Design complete automation machines using SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software

Design motion systems (servo axes, ball screws, linear guides, pneumatic systems)

Design fixtures, tooling, EOAT, structural frames, and guarding

Perform tolerance stack‑up and basic mechanical calculations

Generate detailed drawings and BOMs

Support machine build, FAT, SAT, and commissioning

System Integration (Supporting Role)

Coordinate with PLC, robot, and vision engineers

Provide mechanical solutions for camera mounting, lighting, and robot integration

Improve machine stability, cycle time, and serviceability

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Automation Engineering

3–6 years experience in custom automation machine design

Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory)

Experience with servo‑driven systems and precision assemblies

Knowledge of GD&T, DFM/DFA, and manufacturing processes

Hands‑on shop‑floor machine build and debug experience

Preferred

Exposure to PLC‑controlled automation systems

Vision system mechanical integration knowledge
