We’re Looking for You
As a Mechanical Technician, you will support the plant’s mechanical maintenance activities through effective inspection, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and overhaul work to ensure optimal equipment performance and plant availability.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Performing routine, preventive, corrective, and overhaul maintenance on mechanical equipment in accordance with established procedures
Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical faults to maintain plant reliability and availability
Inspecting and overhauling steam turbines, combustion turbines, generators, HRSGs, and associated CCP mechanical equipment
Installing, removing, inspecting, and maintaining pumps, fans, valves, piping systems, heat exchangers, tanks, and mechanical structures
Conducting condition monitoring activities, including vibration analysis and inspections
Assisting and supervising contractors during maintenance and overhaul activities when required
Performing emergency maintenance and supporting plant restoration activities
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and equipment history in the CMMS
Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical manuals
Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
Supporting cross-functional maintenance activities with Electrical and I&C teams
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of mechanical workshops, tools and work areas
Supporting spare parts planning and continuous improvement initiatives
What You’ll Bring
Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
Minimum 4 years of experience in power plant mechanical maintenance or related industries
Understanding of Combined Cycle Plant (CCP) operations and mechanical maintenance practices
Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance activities in power plants
Experience performing preventive maintenance on major mechanical equipment including steam turbines, combustion turbines, generators, HRSGs, pumps, fans, valves, piping systems, heat exchangers, tanks, and auxiliary systems.
Familiarity with condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis and basic non-destructive testing
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical manuals
Proficiency in using CMMS and MS Office for maintenance documentation
Willingness to support On-Call Rotation or ERO duties
Good English communication skills
Mature, committed, team-oriented, and self-motivated mindset
