Pharmacy Store Development & Expansion Specialist

Role Overview We are seeking a

Pharmacy Store Development & Expansion Specialist

to lead the field execution of new pharmacy store openings from site scouting through physical store readiness. This role focuses specifically on pharmacy and healthcare retail expansion, ensuring each new outlet is delivered operationally ready and compliant with pharmacy store requirements.

You will act as the on-ground execution arm of our pharmacy expansion program, coordinating locations, landlords, contractors, and fit-out vendors to deliver stores that meet layout, infrastructure, and regulatory readiness standards for pharmacy operations.

This role is well-suited for individuals who are execution-driven, field-oriented, and experienced in retail or healthcare outlet rollout, and who enjoy building new stores from zero to launch.

Key Responsibilities Pharmacy Location Scouting & Feasibility:

Identify and evaluate potential pharmacy store locations based on expansion criteria, including foot traffic, neighborhood health demand profile, visibility, accessibility, store size, and licensing feasibility for pharmacy operations. Conduct field surveys, competitor pharmacy mapping, and catchment observations. Support feasibility review using basic commercial and pharmacy-specific considerations. Landlord & Vendor Coordination for Pharmacy Stores:

Coordinate with landlords and property agents for pharmacy site visits, unit negotiations support, and handover processes. Manage vendors involved in pharmacy store setup, including contractors, interior fit-out teams, shelving and storage fixtures, signage, electrical works, POS systems, internet, and CCTV installation. Ensure works meet pharmacy layout and operational requirements. Pharmacy Store Fit-Out & Preparation:

Oversee physical preparation of pharmacy outlets, including renovation tracking, layout execution aligned with pharmacy workflow, fixture installation, and branding setup. Ensure readiness of utilities required for pharmacy operations, including electricity, water, ventilation, and connectivity. Be present on-site during key milestones such as unit handover, renovation start, and pre-opening inspections. Opening Readiness – Pharmacy Outlet:

Ensure each pharmacy store meets physical opening readiness standards, including completed fit-out, installed dispensing and display fixtures, safety basics, and cleanliness standards. Coordinate closely with Pharmacy Operations and Responsible Pharmacist teams for final readiness and handover. Execution Tracking & Risk Control:

Maintain rollout trackers for each pharmacy store from site identification through ready-to-open status. Proactively flag risks related to renovation delays, landlord constraints, vendor performance, or site suitability for pharmacy licensing and operations.

Requirements Experience & Background: Minimum 2–5 years experience in retail expansion, store rollout, property coordination, or fit-out project execution. Experience supporting

pharmacy, clinic, healthcare retail, or F&B outlet openings

is strongly preferred. Proven experience coordinating contractors and multi-vendor field projects. Technical & Functional Skills: Strong on-site coordination and rollout execution capability. Practical understanding of retail or pharmacy fit-out processes. Basic commercial awareness, including renovation cost and rent trade-off considerations. Ability to manage multiple pharmacy site openings concurrently. Comfortable using trackers, checklists, and timeline controls. Behavioral Attributes: Hands-on and field-oriented working style. Exposure to licensing or permit coordination for healthcare outlets is a plus.
