Sounds great – what’s the role in a nutshell? The main tasks of our Cruise Director are to communicate and delegate functions to ensure a luxury service on board. Capitan’s and other collaborators are directly associated with the hospitality area. Leadership is essential to exert a healthy influence on the team in charge. The Day To Day Exercise leadership in handling crew members’ responsibilities. Ensure guests’ satisfaction in every of their requests. Coordinate with the captain about the voyage to be made. Carry out the briefings to passengers. Prepare the operational report on incidents. Be in charge of closing consumptions of POS. Prepare and control annual budgets for the entire hospitality area Carry out follow-up on the projected task and routines through master books and digital media. Based on ISM certification: Be responsible for the evacuation of all passengers on the ship in case of emergency. Supervise compliance with the stipulated system standards. Promote environmental initiatives and help maintain focus and direction with regards to Aqua Expeditions' team effort towards environmental conservation and social responsibility.

What are we looking for? English speaker or native-level proficiency. Technical or Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Hospitality or Tourism Management. Min. 3 years of work experience in the luxury hospitality or cruise industry. Proven track record of leadership with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Must be a PADI Open Water Diving Instructor, who has experience in Komodo and Raja Ampat. Live aboard or yacht experience. Proficient in computer skills and numeracy. You enjoy speaking and sharing your knowledge with customers. Customer Service capabilities, able to deal with a variety of clients and strong multi-tasking skills. Attention to detail and ability to plan ahead.
