HSE Safety Engineer (Data Center)

Responsibilities Lead and implement the project-wide HSE management system for

data center

MEP construction, ensuring full site safety compliance. Develop safety procedures, emergency plans, and risk controls for high-risk activities (WAH, hot work, confined space, lifting, temporary power, and MEP installation). Conduct safety training, inspections, and audits; enforce corrective actions and stop unsafe work when required. Coordinate safety matters with the owner, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors, and lead regular safety meetings. Manage incident response, investigations, reporting, and continuous improvement actions. Ensure all installation, testing, and handover activities comply with regulations, standards, and data center requirements. Oversee safety resources, PPE, documentation, and reporting systems, including weekly project safety reports and subcontractor monitoring.

Qualifications Hands-on HSE experience in construction, preferably with

data center/mission-critical

projects. Strong knowledge of safety regulations, ISO 45001 principles, and high-risk work controls (WAH, hot work, confined space, lifting, electrical). Relevant HSE certification (AK3, NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) preferred. Proven ability to manage site safety, subcontractor compliance, incident investigations, and reporting.
