Tax Manager - Professional Services

Tax Manager – Professional Services We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join a consulting team in Jakarta. This role requires strong expertise in Indonesian tax regulations, compliance, and advisory services, with a particular focus on tax audits and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of corporate tax returns and related filings.

Provide expert tax advisory services, including cross-border tax matters, transfer pricing, and international tax planning.

Develop tax planning strategies to optimize client tax positions and minimize risks.

Represent clients during tax audits, investigations, objections, appeals, and litigation processes.

Manage tax disputes and resolution processes, including negotiation with tax authorities.

Act as primary liaison for international clients, delivering tailored solutions aligned with local regulations and global best practices.

Build strong client relationships and provide proactive updates on regulatory changes.

Mentor junior consultants and support professional development within the tax team.

Collaborate with other service lines (legal, accounting, BPO) to deliver integrated solutions.

Monitor regulatory developments, advise clients on potential impacts, and contribute to thought leadership initiatives, seminars, and client workshops.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field.

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in tax consulting or corporate tax.

Tax Brevet A & B certification required; Brevet C (Court License) strongly preferred.

Proven experience in handling tax audits, disputes, and litigation.

In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and compliance.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
