Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE – Relocation required – 90-105K Euro’s Tax Free + amazing relocation + hotel + flights out/home, private healthcare + 25 days holiday + Permanent role (+5yr visa)

They’re now looking for a Senior Laser–Engineer to join this exciting programme…someone who’s just as comfortable deep in experimental design as they are rolling up their sleeves in the lab.

The Opportunity

You’ll be working at the forefront of laser–matter interaction research, contributing to the design, development, and integration of advanced high-energy laser systems. This is hands-on, applied, and impactful.

Designing and building complex experimental laser setups Working across continuous-wave and pulsed regimes Developing mobile and containerised pulsed-laser platforms Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-power laser systems

What You’ll Bring

Strong hands-on experience with high-power laser systems Experience across multiple pulse regimes Background in spectrometry, thermography, calorimetry and thermal analysis Optical system design and advanced instrumentation expertise Familiarity with testing tools such as LabVIEW, Python, SOLIDWORKS and Zemax Experience with vacuum systems and spectroscopy/imaging detection Comfortable in ISO cleanroom environments MSc (minimum) in Laser Technology, Optical Engineering, Laser Physics or similar 5+ years in R&D or advanced technical environments
