Power Plant Manager

Responsibilities Make sure the CFB boiler, steam turbines, and generators work every day so the mill always has enough steam and electricity.

Control the boiler so it burns fuel efficiently, handle ash, add limestone to reduce pollution, and check emissions like smoke and gases.

Use fuel and electricity in the most efficient way, keep costs low, and track performance to make the plant run better.

Plan regular maintenance, fix equipment like boiler tubes and turbines, and make sure everything is safe and working well.

Ensure the plant meets pollution and waste regulations, and report properly to the authorities.

Lead safety programs, check for hazards, and make sure everyone works safely.

Supervise operators and engineers, train staff, and plan for the future by preparing new leaders.

Plan the budget for operations and repairs, manage fuel costs, and suggest improvements to save money and improve performance.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree

in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related field.

Minimum 10 years

working in a power plant with ≥100MW capacity

Over 5 years

hands‑on experience operating modern Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) boilers

At least 3 years

in a senior managerial role in a power generation facility

In‑depth knowledge of CFB boiler systems

Strong leadership and team management abilities

Excellent understanding of safety & environmental compliance

Strong communication and reporting skills

Strong spoken and written English communication skills
