Quality Assurance Engineer

Reporting Line ● Reports To: QA Manager ● Direct Reports: None (may mentor junior QA staff or interns)

Experience Requirement ● 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, including automation and agile delivery environments.

Main Duties 1. Test Planning & Design – Create detailed test plans and cases from requirements and technical specifications; set up and maintain test environments. 2. Automation & Execution – Develop, maintain, and enhance automated tests (Playwright) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines to improve reliability, test coverage, and release confidence. 3. Manual Testing – Perform exploratory, usability, regression, and risk-based testing to ensure comprehensive functional and integration coverage. 4. Performance & Non-Functional Testing – Design and execute load and performance tests using Locust; analyze results and collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and recommend scalability improvements. 5. Defect Tracking & Reporting – Log, track, and verify defects using Jira; collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution. 6. Process Improvement – Continuously improve QA workflows, test coverage, and quality practices by adopting effective tools, automation enhancements, and risk-based testing approaches.
