Front Office (Guest Service Assistant)

A Guest Service Assistant, also known as a Front Office , plays a vital role in creating a positive and memorable experience for guests in the hospitality industry. Working at the front desk, this position involves providing exceptional customer service to guests during their stay, ensuring their needs are met, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Check-In and Check-Out:

Greet guests upon arrival, assist with the check-in process, and provide necessary information about the hotel amenities and services.

Process guest check-outs efficiently, handle billing, and ensure accurate settlement of accounts.

Customer Service and Communication:

Respond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns, both in person and over the phone, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Provide accurate information about local attractions, dining options, and transportation services.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintain accurate guest records, including contact information and special requests.

Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports for management.

Collaboration:

Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Work collaboratively with team members to uphold high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Related Field (Preferred)

Previous experience in a front office or guest service role within the hospitality industry.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages is a valuable asset.

Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.

Familiarity with hotel management software and reservation systems.

Willingness to work flexible hours.
