EXPAT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORS - LARGE HYRAULIC EXCAVATORS – WEST AFRICA

We are assisting our mining contractor client to recruit Expat Maintenance Supervisors Specialists for their fleet of LARGE HYDRAULIC EXCAVATORS in Africa. Preference will be given to candidates with solid maintenance experience on CAT 6030 and/or CAT 6040.

Mining Contractor Based at a mine in Africa 2 Year renewable contract USD 6,000 – 6,500 net per month Single Status Fly In/Fly Out

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

1. Qualified Artisan - example Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic, Millwright, etc. 2. Ten years’ hands-on on Plant and Equipment experience – including solid experience on Hydraulic Excavators 2. Good CAT Hydraulic Excavator system knowledge, including mechanical, hydraulic and electrical + CAT Systems, e.g. SIS. Will also consider candidates with maintenance experience on the equivalent large Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu hydraulic excavators 3. Excellent troubleshooting skills on machine systems and engines 4. Excellent report writing and Communication skills 5. Candidates must have experience on CAT 6030 and/or CAT 6040. Will also consider candidates with maintenance experience on the equivalent large Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu hydraulic excavators 6. Must have experience managing maintenance teams

KEY OBJECTIVES

**Provide specialist Technical Support **Hands on technical skills **Hands on training of local staff **Carry out troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults **Prepare Technical Reports where needed **Carry out major reworks, component change outs or rebuilds leading a team of staff.
