Project Accountant

We are looking for an experienced

Project Accountant

to support financial operations for our project in Papua. The role will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, tax compliance, financial reporting, and supporting project financial management in coordination with the Head Office and Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities Maintain daily accounting records based on business transactions and supporting documents.

Ensure timely and compliant tax reporting by coordinating with the local

DJP or tax consultant .

Prepare financial statements, financial reports, and management data reports.

Manage financial documentation and archives, including invoices, contracts, payment documents, and accounting vouchers in both physical and electronic formats.

Support internal and external audits when required.

Assist other departments with financial-related matters.

Report project financial issues to HQ and the Finance Manager in a timely manner.

Assist HQ in handling company financial matters related to the project.

Requirements Minimum

5 years of accounting experience .

Proficient in

Accurate or other accounting software .

Strong knowledge of

accounting processes and financial statement preparation .

Brevet Tax Certification

is preferred.

Experience in

tax calculation, tax reporting, and tax payment procedures

is an advantage.

Experience in

petroleum, oil & gas, or construction industry

is a plus.

Able to adapt to the working culture of

Chinese companies .

Willing to be

based in Papua .
