Business Development Manager – South DACH (Direct Sales) A growth-focused enterprise software provider is expanding its footprint across the DACH region and is looking for an experienced

Business Development Manager

to drive new business across

Southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland . This is a high‑impact role for a consultative seller who thrives in complex enterprise environments and enjoys building long-term, value-led relationships.

The Opportunity You’ll take ownership of a high-potential territory, engaging directly with enterprise customers across banking, insurance, public sector, logistics, and other document‑intensive industries. Your mission is to help organisations modernise their document workflows through advanced capture, automation, and intelligent scanning solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing Leading end‑to‑end direct sales cycles with enterprise and upper mid‑market customers Building and executing a territory plan to grow market share across South DACH Identifying and developing new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and industry engagement Running discovery sessions to understand customer challenges and position high‑value automation solutions Managing complex stakeholder groups including IT, Operations, Compliance, and Procurement Collaborating with technical specialists to deliver tailored demos, PoCs, and solution proposals Negotiating commercial terms and closing multi‑stakeholder enterprise deals Representing the business at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements

What You Bring Proven success in

direct enterprise sales

within software, automation, workflow, capture, or related technology Strong understanding of

document-heavy business processes

and the ability to translate operational pain points into solution value A track record of closing six‑figure deals and managing long, consultative sales cycles Excellent communication skills in

German and English A self-driven, structured, and commercially sharp approach to territory development Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with pre-sales, marketing, and leadership teams
