We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive

IT Security – EDR Specialist

to join our growing cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in endpoint security solutions, Linux administration, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR): • Administer and manage enterprise EDR platforms such as: CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne or other comparable solutions. • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and suspicious activities • Conduct endpoint incident investigations and root cause analysis • Execute device isolation and containment procedures • Configure, optimize, and fine-tune EDR security policies • Provide recommendations to strengthen overall endpoint security posture

Linux Administration (Ubuntu): • Manage and administer systems running on Ubuntu • Perform service management using Systemctl • Handle file permissions and ownership configuration • Monitor processes and system resources • Conduct system log analysis and troubleshooting • Manage software packages using apt

Qualifications • Proven experience in endpoint security operations and EDR management • Strong understanding of Endpoint Detection & Response concepts and best practices • Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, ports, firewall concepts) • Experience in performing basic cybersecurity incident analysis and response • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications • Relevant security certifications (CEH, Security+, or vendor-specific certifications) • Experience in enterprise IT security environments • Familiarity with SIEM and threat intelligence platforms
