Job Description
Review daily reports related to the operational activities of the entire fleet and report them to relevant parties
Ensure the smooth running of loading and unloading activities across the fleet and take necessary follow-up actions
Verify data requests from all fleet members before they are input into the system by operations staff
Conduct cleanliness and maintenance inspections of all fleet members, review records.
Check Floating Loading Facility (FLF) and Floating Crane (FC) timesheets and take corrective action if discrepancies are found
Calculate distances, trip durations, loading and unloading times, estimate fuel consumption across the fleet
Coordinate with external parties (shippers) regarding barge line-ups (cargo arrangements)
Review and verify reports on fresh water usage and deck spare parts across the fleet before they are requested and input into the system by Operation Staff
Ensure the maneuvering / berthing activities of Tugboats, Floating Cranes, and Floating Loading Facilities continue to run optimally
What We're Looking For
Minimum education of
D4/S1 (Bachelorโs degree)
in
Port & Management, Nautical Studies, Marine Engineering , or a related field.
At least
2โ3 years of experience
as a port captain supervisor, in marine operations, shipyard, or related industry.
Proven leadership skills in managing, mentoring, and developing a technical team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, especially under pressure.
Great to Have
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with
marine safety standards
and port technical certifications.
