Role Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating qualified outbound opportunities for the sales team. This role focuses primarily on outbound prospecting, creating pipeline through strategic outreach to target accounts.
BDRs work closely with Account Executives in a pod structure, supporting territory strategy and feeding high-quality SQLs into the pipeline. This is a foundational role within Nauta’s sales organization and a potential path to promotion into an AE role based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Execute high-volume, high-quality outbound prospecting via email, phone, and LinkedIn
Build and manage outbound sequences aligned with target industries and ICPs
Qualify prospects and convert them into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
Book discovery meetings for Account Executives within assigned regions or accounts
Research target accounts and stakeholders to personalize outreach
Collaborate closely with AEs on account strategy, events, and outbound campaigns
Maintain accurate activity tracking and lead management in HubSpot
Continuously optimize messaging, sequences, and outreach based on performance data
Participate in enablement, coaching, and ongoing sales training
Profile We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in BDR, SDR, or outbound sales roles (B2B preferred)
Strong written and spoken English (near-native required)
Comfortable with cold outreach, objection handling, and persistence
Highly organized with strong time management skills
Coachable, curious, and motivated to build a career in sales
Experience using HubSpot, Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting tools
Nice to Have
Experience prospecting into logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or trade-related industries
Prior experience working with US-based customers
Based in Latin America with excellent English and strong outbound sales fundamentals
or international markets
