Position Summary
We are seeking a
highly experienced Senior Solution Architect
to design, connect, and govern
end-to-end technology solutions
spanning content management, compliance, and digital ecosystems. You will serve as the
technical anchor
between business strategy, process design, and technology execution—ensuring architectural coherence across multiple platforms while enabling seamless integration between business systems, automation tools, and data layers. The ideal candidate combines
deep technical expertise
with
strong business acumen , translating complex requirements into
robust, scalable, and future-proof architectures
that meet stringent regulatory and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Solution Architecture
• Define and own
end-to-end solution architectures
across:
– Content management platforms
– Medical, Legal & Regulatory (MLR) systems
– Automation & orchestration tools
– Data lakes/warehouses and analytics layers
– Customer-facing digital channels
• Ensure
seamless integration & interoperability
between enterprise systems, third-party SaaS/PaaS solutions, and multi-cloud environments.
• Design
modular, scalable architectures
that enforce global standards while allowing regional flexibility.
• Guarantee alignment with enterprise architecture principles, cybersecurity frameworks, and industry-specific compliance mandates (GxP, GDPR, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, etc.).
2. Technology Integration & Connectivity
• Act as the
primary integration architect
for the entire content and compliance ecosystem.
• Define
integration patterns
(API-led, event-driven, ETL/ELT, micro-services) and select appropriate middleware, iPaaS, or custom solutions.
• Establish
data governance, master-data management, and real-time synchronization strategies
across platforms.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to implement
zero-trust network segmentation, encryption, and identity management
for all integration touchpoints.
3. Regulatory & Compliance Architecture
• Translate regulatory requirements into
technical controls and architectural guardrails .
• Ensure content lifecycle traceability, audit trails, electronic signatures, and retention policies are embedded in the architecture.
• Partner with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Legal to validate that system designs satisfy global submission standards (eCTD, IDMP, SPL, etc.).
• Lead
compliance impact assessments
for new platform introductions or major releases.
4. Road-mapping & Technical Governance
• Develop
multi-year architecture roadmaps
aligned with business objectives, budget cycles, and technology refresh timelines.
• Create and maintain
Architecture Decision Records (ADR) , ensuring transparent decision-making and knowledge continuity.
• Chair
architecture review boards
to evaluate proposed changes, manage technical debt, and enforce standards.
• Mentor delivery teams and conduct design reviews to guarantee adherence to architectural blueprints.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
• Serve as the
trusted technical advisor
to business executives, product owners, and delivery squads.
• Facilitate workshops to elicit requirements, resolve conflicts, and secure buy-in for architectural choices.
• Translate complex technical concepts into
clear, actionable guidance
for non-technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors, system integrators, and offshore development centers to ensure consistent implementation.
Required Profile & Experience
Core Experience
• 8+ years as a
Solution or Enterprise Architect
designing large-scale content, compliance, or digital marketing platforms in regulated industries (pharmaceutical, medical device, or financial services).
• Proven track record delivering
global, multi-site implementations
involving CMS, DAM, CRM, marketing automation, and regulatory systems.
• Demonstrated success in
cloud-first architectures
(AWS, Azure, GCP) with hybrid/on-prem connectivity.
• Experience with
FDA, EMA, and other health authority
submission systems and data standards.
Technical Expertise
• Deep knowledge of
content & digital platforms : Adobe Experience Cloud, Veeva Vault, Sitecore, Salesforce, Optimizely, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in
integration technologies : REST/GraphQL APIs, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), ETL tools (Informatica, Talend), and iPaaS (MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Strong understanding of
data architecture : relational & NoSQL databases, data lakes, MDM, and real-time analytics.
• Familiarity with
DevSecOps, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) , and container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
