Business Development Manager (Oil & Gas and Energy)

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company in pump. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10 years' experience in pump and rotating products for the job of Business Development Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

Report directly to Managing Director

Identify and secure new project contracts in the Oil and Gas and Energy sectors to drive business growth in the sectors.

Define, plan, and execute sales strategies for major capital‑intensive projects.

Develop and maintain relationships with external partners such as EPC companies, Contractors, Consultants, and End users.

Tracking of company initiatives to achieve company objectives

Mentoring and developing the Business Development team

Liaising with other members of the sales and operational team, technical experts, regional sales & Directors.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering discipline from reputable university.

10 years working experience with min 3 years experience in a manager position and a proven track record in Industrial Pump/Equipment sales.

Highly driven Individuals with strong initiatives

Collaborative team player with positive attitude, and customer centric.

Willing to take on challenges in a dynamic environment.

Tenacious in identifying and securing new business opportunities

Excellent interpersonal skills and possesses leadership qualities

Ability to work independently, a problem solver and a good communicator

Command of written and spoken English is a must

Must be willing to travel frequently within the country, regionally or internationally.
