Job Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with high-quality suppliers to meet our procurement needs and standards.

Lead contract negotiations to secure competitive terms and long‑term value for BYD, ensuring cost efficiency and high product/service quality.

Conduct market research to stay informed on supplier trends, emerging technologies, and competitive pricing strategies to strengthen our procurement capabilities.

Develop and implement cost‑saving strategies without compromising on quality, ensuring procurement aligns with company goals.

Work closely with internal teams such as production, R&D, and logistics to align sourcing activities with project requirements.

Develop and maintain a robust sourcing strategy that supports BYD’s goals for operational efficiency and growth.

Regularly evaluate supplier performance based on key metrics such as delivery reliability, quality of goods, and responsiveness.

Ensure all procurement practices adhere to company policies and relevant regulations, including environmental and ethical sourcing standards.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Having at least 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, ideally within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.

Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a proven track record of achieving favorable terms with suppliers.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.

Demonstrated experience in supplier relationship management, fostering collaboration, and resolving disputes effectively.

Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.

Familiarity with procurement software and digital sourcing tools is a plus.

Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English; Mandarin language skills are an advantage.
