Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for driving the commercial success of the company’s prescription drug portfolio by managing and growing relationships with key healthcare providers, hospital systems, pharmacy chains, and other critical stakeholders. The KAM will serve as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and optimizing sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Sales Execution
Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets within assigned territory or accounts.
Build long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders including physicians, pharmacists, hospital procurement teams, and administrators.
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and work cross-functionally to execute commercial strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a trusted partner and product expert for key customers, providing education, support, and value-added solutions.
Conduct regular meetings, product detailing, and business reviews with stakeholders.
Navigate complex account structures and decision-making hierarchies in healthcare institutions.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and changing dynamics within assigned territory.
Provide feedback to internal teams including marketing, medical affairs, and market access to adapt strategies as needed.
Maintain accurate records of interactions, sales data, and forecasts using CRM tools.
Compliance & Regulatory
Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements, including pharma compliance and anti-bribery policies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic area, product data, and applicable industry regulations.

Responsibilities
Operate as the primary point of contact for key account stakeholders
Develop a trusted advisory relationship with accounts, customer stakeholders and internal partners
Prepare and guarantee monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
3+ years' of relevant work experience
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Based out of Spain, Portugal or Italy
