QA Lead

Job Description: Quality Strategy and Planning Contribute to and execute the QA strategy, ensuring alignment with product goals, customer expectations, and quality standards. Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to understand requirements, assess risks, and prioritize QA activities. Team Collaboration and Mentorship Support and mentor QA team members (Associate and Non-Associate), sharing best practices, tools, and testing methodologies. Provide ongoing feedback and assist in skill development through knowledge sharing and coaching. Process Improvement and Automation Design, maintain, and continuously improve testing processes and frameworks. Actively contribute to and expand automated test coverage to improve efficiency and reliability. Support CI/CD pipeline integration and ensure testing is embedded within the delivery process. Quality Metrics and Reporting Track and analyze quality metrics such as defect trends, test coverage, and release readiness. Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality status clearly to stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure quality is considered throughout the development lifecycle. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, representing the QA perspective.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields At least 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or related roles Experience leading or mentoring QA engineers or testing teams is highly preferred Practical experience in both manual and automated testing using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, Jest, or similar Solid understanding of testing concepts including functional, regression, performance, security, and scalability testing Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar Good communication and stakeholder management skills Comfortable working in a complex, cross-functional, multi-stakeholder environment
