Business Development Manager - China FDI

Business Development Manager - China FDI Manage relationships in project channels (Owners/Investors/Designers/Architects/Contractors/Roll Formers) related to China FDI (Foreign Direct Investment). Oversee project pipeline stages and accountable for volume and margin. Define strategy in specific group segment China FDI across industrial, commercial, residential, and infrastructure markets. Coordinate with sales managers for order received from customers. Focus area to be covered includes Indonesia.

Responsibilities

Implement and comply with Occupational Health Safety & Environment (OHSE) Policy, Quality & Environmental Management System, BSL Policy, Code of Conduct (How We Work), Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) and Government Regulations.

Build & strengthen relationships and approach Project Owners, AEC (Architect Engineer Consultant), and Contractors related to China FDI to implement BlueScope’s product specifications for green field and brownfield projects invested by Chinese, Hong Kong, and Taiwanese.

Represent BlueScope Indonesia as the focal point to coordinate with regional colleagues on China Investments related projects and communicate to management on a timely basis.

Develop business strategies such as product presentation and marketing events related to the responsible segment group and/or coverage area.

Plan, manage, and develop project pipeline numbers and be accountable for volume and margin.

Increase and develop premium products (painted and bare) in the project pipeline.

Supervise, coach, and motivate the team (if any) to achieve goals.

Qualifications And/or Experience Required

Minimum Associate Degree in business/technical/engineering or in B2C/B2B Marketing/Sales preferred.

Minimum 10 years working experience and minimum 3 years in construction industry and sales/marketing and business development management level required.

Hunting and positive mindset.

Strong engagement with AEC, Project Owner, and Contractors in industrial, commercial, residential, infrastructure & institutions market segments.

Excellent communication in Mandarin and English.

Strong communication skills, confidently write and speak clearly.

Able to plan and execute business planning process.

Good knowledge of general business and company procedures.
