Production Assistant Manager

Oversee and manage the sewing department with 900+ employees

Lead production line operations and improvement activities through supervisors and line leaders

Provide technical guidance in sewing and implement solutions to reduce defects

Ensure production performance in quality, delivery and efficiency

Develop talent with the department and foster strong shop floor communication

Requirements

Proven experience as an assistant sewing manager or equivalent role in a garment factory

Hands on experience managing a sewing department with a track record of guiding operators and supervisors

Excellent team management and people development skills

Ability to deliver measurable results within the probation period 3 months

Preferably if having experience in mass production of underwear, lingerie or apparel, experience working with multinational staff, having practical knowledge of quality control methods (e.g. QC tools, 5Why analysis)

Leadership and communication skills.

Fluent in English (spoken & written)
