Human Resources Business Partner OXYENERGY | ex-SKINTIFIC Malaysia | ex-Team Lead for Regional Talent Acquisition Team Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Business Partner, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The HR Business Partner will work closely with company leadership and employees to align HR strategies with business objectives. Responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, and overseeing performance management processes. Additionally, the HR Business Partner will provide guidance and support for organizational development, workforce planning, and overall employee engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workforce Planning & Recruitment

Develop and execute manpower planning for all departments.

Manage full recruitment cycle: job posting, screening, interviewing, and reference checks.

Partner with hiring managers to ensure candidate quality and cultural fit.

2. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

Manage onboarding, probation evaluations, confirmation, contract changes, and offboarding.

Maintain and update HRIS, attendance records, and employee documentation.

Prepare and ensure all employment documents are accurate and up to date.

3. Performance & Talent Management

Implement KPI/OKR frameworks for Indonesia teams.

Facilitate performance review cycles with department leads.

Identify talents, skill gaps, and training needs; support development plans.

4. Employee Relations & Company Culture

Handle workplace issues: misconduct, complaints, disciplinary actions, counselling.

Drive a positive and engaging work culture aligned with company values.

Plan and execute engagement activities, monthly meetings, and recognition programs.

5. Payroll & HR Compliance

Prepare monthly payroll data and collaborate with Finance for payout.

Ensure compliance with Indonesian labour laws, BPJS Kesehatan, and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

Oversee all HR processes to meet legal and regulatory standards.

6. HR Policy & Process Improvement

Develop, improve, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.

Recommend structural and process improvements to support business effectiveness.

Lead HR-related projects to enhance efficiency and operational clarity.

7. Strategic Business Partnering

Work closely with Country Manager, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and other leaders.

Provide HR insights and data-driven recommendations for business decisions.

Support cross-border collaboration with Malaysia, China, and regional teams.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge and experience with HR Policies and general Human Resources (HR) practices in INDONESIA.

Expertise in Employee Relations and a deep understanding of Labor and Employment Laws.

Proficiency in designing and implementing Performance Management systems.

Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and foster a positive workplace culture.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Masterโ€™s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Prior experience in a similar role or in managing HR functions within a mid-size to large organization is preferred.
