Job Description
The Retail Sales Agriculture role will be responsible for managing and developing our retail channel network to drive product adoption and sales volume in their assigned territories.
Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and retailers.
Conduct daily visits to distributor offices and retail shops to manage sales activities and ensure partner satisfaction.
Track product availability and stock levels to prevent out-of-stock issues and ensure optimal inventory flow.
Deliver product knowledge and application training to distributor sales teams and retail staff.
Prepare sales forecasts, monitor retail movement, and execute promotional strategies to meet targets.
Collect and report competitor activities, customer insights, and product performance updates.
Provide weekly and monthly sales reports, activity plans, and expense reports to the Agri Sales Manager.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
Education: Bachelorโs Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the agriculture industry (fertilizers, seeds, crop protection, or soil amendments), with strong distributor/retailer channel exposure.
Sales Acumen: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and independently managing a territory.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of soil science, crop nutrition, and fertilizer/soil amendment products.
Networking: Must have established relationships with agricultural distributors and key retailers, particularly in Central Java.
Mobility: Owns a personal motorbike and holds a valid SIM-C; willing to travel frequently.
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
