We are seeking a highly experienced

Senior FirstSpirit Developer (Headless / API-First)

to architect and deliver enterprise-grade digital experience platforms using the FirstSpirit in a headless and API-driven environment. This role focuses on decoupled architectures, omnichannel content delivery, microservices integrations, and modern frontend frameworks. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in FirstSpirit development, backend integrations, and modern digital architecture patterns.

Key Responsibilities Architecture & Technical Leadership Design and implement headless CMS architectures using FirstSpirit. Define API-first strategies for content delivery across web, mobile, apps, and third-party platforms. Lead architectural decisions for decoupled and microservices-based ecosystems. Establish development standards, governance, and best practices. Mentor and guide development teams.

Headless & API Development Develop and configure: Content models optimized for API delivery Structured content schemas Content-as-a-Service (CaaS) implementations Build and consume RESTful APIs and GraphQL services. Implement personalization and dynamic content delivery in headless environments. Ensure proper versioning and lifecycle management of APIs.

Integration & Ecosystem Integrate FirstSpirit with: eCommerce platforms CRM and Marketing Automation systems PIM/DAM platforms Identity and authentication services Collaborate with frontend teams using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. Design middleware layers when necessary (Node.js, Java-based services).

Performance, Security & DevOps Implement caching strategies and CDN integrations. Optimize API performance and scalability. Ensure compliance with security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, SSO). Work closely with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments. Support containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).

Required Skills & Experience 6+ years of experience in CMS and enterprise web development. 4+ years of hands-on experience with FirstSpirit. Strong expertise in headless CMS architecture. Advanced Java development skills. Strong understanding of: RESTful APIs GraphQL JSON-based content delivery Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue). Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures. Experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications FirstSpirit certification. Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs. Experience in omnichannel or composable architecture. Familiarity with MACH principles (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless). Experience in enterprise integration patterns (ESB, API gateways).
