Job Title Pipeline Technology Equipment Technician

Location Worldwide

Mission

Ensure the working status of the pipeline main line equipment during the project execution and during project preparation, installation and start up

Tasks

Perform the electrical/mechanical works in accordance with safety and quality requirements

Perform electrical connections for equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, cabinets, and any other electrical apparatus

Ability in read technical drawings schematics (i.e., line diagram, electrical scheme, basic hydraulic diagrams), assuring that the equipment's are installed/connected as per intent

Verify the equipment and materials are in good and safe operating conditions, reporting any anomalies to pipeline technologies engineer. Assure a correct storage of the spare parts and verification of their compatibility with the installations

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as Multimeters, meggers, oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility, integrity, and safety of system

Requirements

Experience in electro-mechanical trouble shooting for welding (Automatic welding system) and for FJC (experience on coating systems)

Practical experience with Lincoln, Miller brands preferred

Practical experience with Straaltecknieek, SAIP, IHW brands preferred

Valid offshore certificates
