Business Controller

As a

Business Controller , you will act as the

Guardian of Capital

for

Bersama Holdings

(a holding company of STUDiLMU, https://bersamaholdings.com) This role is responsible for monitoring investment performance, ensuring financial transparency across multiple business units, and safeguarding capital payback from our operating partners.

You will work closely with the Chairman and business partners across

F&B, Wellness, and Property

portfolios, combining

financial control, operational audit, and business insight

in a fast-growing holding environment.

Key Responsibilities Investment Monitoring & Payback Control Monitor capital deployment and payback progress across all business units (F&B and Wellness).

Ensure accurate profit calculation and timely capital recovery in line with investment agreements.

Provide early warning and recommendations if payback targets are at risk.

Conduct regular site visits to verify financial data, operational discipline, and adherence to agreed management principles.

Perform spot checks on inventory, cash flow, cost structure, and operational discipline.

Identify financial leakages, inefficiencies, or inconsistencies at the outlet level.

Validate that operational quality and on-site practices align with the financial reports submitted by operating partners.

Financial Analysis & Reporting Consolidate financial reports from Property, F&B, and Wellness units into a group-level dashboard.

Analyze yield, margin, and performance discrepancies across outlets.

Provide early warnings when a business unit is at risk of missing its payback target, supported by clear and actionable financial insights to the Chairman.

Governance & Business Partnering Act as a key liaison between the Holding and Operating Partners on financial matters.

Support profit-sharing validation and post-payback financial governance.

Contribute business insights beyond numbers when discussing growth, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements Experience & Background Minimum

3 years

of experience in

Financial Audit, Business Controlling, or Corporate Finance .

Experience from one of the Big Four audit firms

in Indonesia will be preferred.

Exposure to

F&B, Retail, Hospitality, or Wellness

businesses is a strong advantage.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.

Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, CA) are a plus, not mandatory.

Technical Skills Familiar with cloud accounting software (Jurnal, Xero, Accurate) and F&B POS systems.

Solid understanding of

COGS, margin analysis, cost control, and multi-outlet operations .

Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio) is a plus.

Personal Attributes High integrity and objectivity in handling financial data.

Confident and analytical when questioning financial inconsistencies.

Comfortable working independently and visiting operational sites.

Clear communicator in

Bahasa Indonesia and English .
