Job Description

Oversee all metallurgical processes within the smelter, ensuring optimal recovery and product quality.

Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in production efficiency and cost control.

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary technical team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term operational planning and technology upgrades.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 15 years' experience in metallurgical operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record in smelter operations (nickel is preferred).

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to thrive in a remote site environment and manage complex technical challenges.
