Business Analyst

Role Overview We are seeking analytically strong candidates with excellent Japanese and English proficiency to support the improvement of Large Language Models (LLMs). This role involves analyzing complex content, conducting online research, validating claims, solving logical problems, and creating structured scenarios to enhance AI systems. This is a strong opportunity for candidates to build expertise in applied AI and analytical problem-solving in an AI-first environment.

Key Responsibilities Read, summarize, and break down complex content into logical components Conduct online research to validate information and claims Solve analytical and logical reasoning problems Create high-quality training scenarios with clear explanations Provide detailed feedback and annotations to improve model performance

Required Qualifications Proficiency in Japanese and English (mandatory) Strong analytical, research, and logical reasoning skills Excellent written communication skills Reliable desktop/laptop with stable internet connection Full-time availability (8 hours per day) Minimum 4 hours overlap with PST time zone

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or a related field Professional writing or analytical experience (research, business analysis, journalism, technical writing, editing, translation) Proficiency in Excel and Google Suite Strong data interpretation and basic quantitative skills

Commitment Requirements Minimum 30 hours per week (option for 30 hrs/week or 40 hrs/week) At least 4 hours daily overlap with PST Contractor engagement for 8 weeks
