SAP Solution Architect (FICO & Retail Focus) Nazih Group is seeking a highly experienced

SAP Solution Architect

to lead the optimization and architectural strategy of our SAP landscape. The ideal candidate is a hybrid professional: technically grounded in

SAP FICO , deeply knowledgeable about the

FMCG/Retail trading lifecycle

(from wholesale import to store‑level POS), and capable of managing complex projects across distributed teams.

You will act as the bridge between technical execution and business strategy, ensuring our SAP environment adopts industry best practices to support our growth across the GCC and North Africa.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Architecture & Strategy

Design and govern the SAP solution architecture, ensuring alignment with Nazih Group’s FMCG business model (Wholesale, Retail, and Distribution).

Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, specifically bridging the gap between backend ERP (FICO/SD/MM) and frontend operations (POS/Retail Outlets).

Enforce SAP Best Practices:

Conduct regular health checks and architectural reviews to prevent customization drift and ensure standard, upgrade‑ready implementations.

2. Project Management & Delivery

Lead SAP‑related projects from conception to "Go‑Live" and support, adhering to strict timelines and budgets.

Manage project risks, resource allocation, and stakeholder expectations.

Oversee the integration of SAP with 3rd‑party retail systems (e.g., POS, eCommerce platforms).

Leverage deep expertise in SAP FICO to ensure accurate financial reporting, controlling, and integration with logistics (MM/SD) processes.

Optimize the "Procure‑to‑Pay" and "Order‑to‑Cash" cycles specific to high‑volume retail environments.

Manage internal technical teams and external vendors effectively, including remote teams across different GCC/North Africa time zones.

Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the technical team.

5. Executive Communication

Translate complex technical risks and opportunities into clear, executive‑level presentations.

Act as a trusted advisor to the Group CIO and business stakeholders regarding SAP roadmap and innovations.

Requirements Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

10+ years

of total experience in SAP, with at least

4 years

as a Solution Architect.

Essential:

Proven background as a hands‑on

SAP FICO Consultant

before moving into architecture.

Industry Knowledge

Mandatory:

Deep understanding of the

FMCG Retail Industry , specifically the end‑to‑end trading concept (Import , Warehouse, Wholesale/Distribution , Retail Outlet).

Experience with high‑volume transaction environments and multi‑country operations.

Technical & Professional Skills

Project Management:

PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus; demonstrated experience managing SAP rollouts and upgrades is required.

Best Practices:

Strong knowledge of SAP standard processes and an ability to push back on unnecessary customizations.

Remote Management:

Proven track record of managing remote/distributed teams and vendors effectively.

Soft Skills

Excellent Communication:

Superior verbal and written skills in English.

Presentation:

Ability to create and deliver high‑impact presentations to C‑Level executives (defining problems, proposing solutions, and justifying investments).
