Role Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Human Resources Manager to join our team at
Bali (DPS Station).
This role supports the HQ HR Manager in overseeing HR strategies, daily operations, and long-term initiatives aligned with the companyโs vision, mission, and values. You will help foster a high-performance, employee-oriented culture while ensuring full compliance with labor laws and company policies.
This is a full-time, on-site role.
You will work closely with internal teams, government authorities, and labor unions, and contribute to both local and corporate-level HR projects.
Responsibilities
Strategic & Managerial Support
Support the HQ HR Manager in developing and implementing HR strategies and policies.
Monitor workforce planning, performance, and cost control to meet business goals.
Evaluate and improve HR processes, systems, and tools.
Monitor labor trends and best practices to drive continuous HR improvement.
Staffing & Recruitment
Assist in workforce planning with department heads.
Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
Maintain employment agreements in line with HQ templates and local regulations.
Monitor staffing budgets and recommend improvements.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
Support the design and management of compensation and benefit programs.
Conduct benchmarking and support job evaluations.
Ensure payroll accuracy and system effectiveness.
Performance & Career Management
Guide the implementation of performance review cycles.
Analyze performance results and recommend career and training plans.
Support succession planning for key roles.
Training & Development
Coordinate with the Training Manager and departments to identify training needs.
Monitor training effectiveness and continuous development programs.
Ensure all training aligns with employee career growth.
Employee & Industrial Relations
Promote the company culture, values, and communication across levels.
Manage employee engagement, satisfaction surveys, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
Support negotiations and maintain healthy relationships with labor unions.
Ensure company compliance with labor regulations and CBA terms.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Promote and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices.
Work with the Quality team to enforce HSE regulations.
Maintain administrative records including personnel files, HR reports, and attendance.
Ensure high confidentiality of employee data.
Qualifications
Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Law, Management, or related field.
In-depth knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and HRIS systems.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Experience in a unionized environment is a plus.
Experience
Minimum
5 years of experience in HR , with at least
2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
Proven experience in staffing, employee relations, payroll, and HR operations.
Prior exposure to aviation or ground handling industry is an advantage.
