Events Manager - Sport Tech Startup

Ayo Indonesia is looking for an experienced Events Manager to join our team. As the Events Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning and implementation of events run by Ayo Indonesia.

Event Manager – West Jakarta, Jakarta, ID Responsibilities

Conceptualize, manage and run sporting events to be run by AYO Team.

Create and maintain budget for sporting events.

Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, sponsors and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.

Collaborate with internal and external parties related to marketing needs of an event.

Manage all event set‑up, tear down and follow‑up processes.

Hire and manage staff and volunteers as needed for the event, in accordance with the budget.

Manage relationships with participants of the events objectively and with integrity.

Book venues and vendors for events as necessary.

Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the required standards.

Assess an event’s overall success and submit findings.

Assist in other areas of the company’s business as requested by the management team.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in event management.

Strong communication skills.

Team player and self‑starter (independent).

Positive and outgoing personality.

Strong negotiation, leadership, and planning skills.

Ability to multi‑task, remain calm and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Attention to details and good problem‑solving skills.

Experience or talent for organizing and working on complex events in an efficient and methodical manner.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with diverse types of people.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also take initiatives when the need arises.
