Middle Associate (Corporate)

Law Office Yang & Co is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented mid-level lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in handling a variety of legal matters, including contract drafting, legal research, cross-border transactions, and client communications.

Responsibilities

Drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.

Managing client cases from start to finish, which includes handling all associated tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.

Conducting legal research and analysis on case law, regulations, and legal issues to support cases and client needs.

Acting as a point of contact for clients, providing legal advice, and keeping them updated on case progress.

Overseeing the work of junior associates on various tasks.

Regularly reporting the responsible Partner on the task at hand and its progress from time to time; and

Assist and support senior associates and Partner.

Requirements

Holds a Bachelor of Laws from a prominent Indonesian Law Faculty.

Has a minimum of 4 years experience in a corporate law firm.

Able to overcome challenges and work under tight deadlines or high demand.

Willing to learn, hardworking, and reliable.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Able to work both independently or as a part of a team.

Preferably have an advocate card.

Proficient in at least two languages (Indonesian and English).
