Role Overview
The Head of Partnerships will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships that drive revenue, customer acquisition, and brand expansion. This role focuses on partnerships with insurance companies, banks & financial institutions, and corporate & B2B clients. It requires strong business development capabilities, negotiation expertise, and the ability to structure win-win commercial agreements.
Responsibilities
Partnership Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute a partnership strategy aligned with company growth targets
Identify high-impact partnership opportunities within insurance, banking, and corporate sectors
Define value propositions tailored to each partner segment
Business Development & Acquisition
Lead end-to-end partnership acquisition (prospecting, pitching, negotiation, closing)
Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers (C-level, HR Directors, Partnership Heads)
Structure commercial models (revenue sharing, bundled offerings, employee benefits, etc.)
Account Management & Growth
Maintain and grow relationships with existing key partners
Ensure partnerships meet revenue and performance targets
Develop joint campaigns and initiatives to maximize engagement and ROI
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, Retail, Operations, Finance, and Product teams
Ensure operational readiness for partnership programs
Monitor execution quality across stores and digital channels
Performance & Reporting
Set KPIs and track partnership performance
Provide regular business updates and insights to leadership
Identify optimization and upsell opportunities
Qualifications
Experience
8–12+ years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Corporate Sales, or Commercial roles
Strong experience working with Insurance, Banking, or Corporate HR sectors
Proven track record in closing high-value institutional deals
Experience in retail, consumer, lifestyle, healthcare, or financial services industries is a plus
Skills
Strong negotiation and commercial structuring capability
Strategic thinking with execution excellence
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong financial and analytical acumen
High ownership and result-driven mindset
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Marketing, or related field
MBA is a plus
