Job Description
We are looking for Retail Assistant Manager who plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between Torch's physical retail operations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of all our retail stores and to-be-opened offline stores. This position requires a combination of leadership, operational, customer service, and offline store strategy skills to maintain a high level of service and drive sales within the stores.
Torch.id is an Indonesian travel & lifestyle brand focusing on bags, apparel, and travel essentials, designed to support modern and active lifestyles through functional and innovative products.
Role
Develop and implement sales strategies to enhance customer experience and drive sales in-store, coordinate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of offline channels.
Oversee all aspects of our stores' operation, including staff management, inventory control, visual merchandising, promotion, and customer service.
Create and manage customer journeys to ensure a consistent and personalized experience across all touchpoints, utilize customer data and feedback to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze sales performance across offline channels, use data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Oversee inventory levels to ensure product availability and optimal stock levels across all channels, coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to manage inventory transfers.
Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales in physical stores, collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional activities that align with the brand's offline strategy.
Assist in the planning and execution of new store openings and expansions, ensuring that new locations adhere to the brand's standards and operational procedures.
Develop and manage store budgets, monitor store performance against financial targets, and take corrective actions as needed.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including third‑party vendors, technology partners, and other external collaborators.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in leading area retail team, with min. 3 years of experience in fashion retail industry.
Proven track record in managing offline initiatives or similar roles in the fashion retail industry.
Strong understanding of retail operations.
Proficiency in data analysis.
Leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
In‑depth knowledge of the fashion retail industry, including market trends and consumer behavior.
Knowledge of visual merchandising best practices and the ability to implement them effectively.
Financial acumen for budget management and financial analysis.
Innovative and proactive mindset.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced and dynamic retail environment.
