Warehouse Assistant Manager

About the role We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at PT. CJ Logistics Indonesia, based in Cibitung District, Bekasi, West Java. This full-time role will be integral in supporting the efficient and effective management of our state-of-the-art warehousing and distribution operations.

Role and Responsibilities

Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods.

Coordinate and supervise the warehouse team to ensure all activities are performed safely, efficiently and in compliance with standard operating procedures.

Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock control measures to minimize losses and optimize storage utilization.

Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and service delivery.

Provide training and guidance to warehouse personnel to develop their skills and capabilities.

Ensure the warehouse facility, equipment and systems are properly maintained and functioning effectively.

Support the Warehouse Manager in preparing reports and KPI tracking for the senior leadership team.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar warehouse assistant manager or supervisory role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry.

Having experience to handle frozen food customers or related industry.

Strong knowledge of warehousing operations, inventory management and logistics best practices.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving and decision‑making skills.

Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing training and development opportunities.

Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office applications.

Commitment to promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
