We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager for our Wedding and Social Event division in Jakarta, Indonesia. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth in the thriving events industry. The ideal candidate will combine strategic sales expertise with a passion for creating memorable celebrations, managing client relationships from initial consultation through event execution.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for wedding and social event packages

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional client service and meet performance objectives

Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, corporate partners, and key stakeholders in the Jakarta event market

Manage the complete sales pipeline, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiation

Customize event packages and solutions to meet diverse client needs while maximizing profitability

Collaborate with event planning, operations, and vendor management teams to ensure seamless client experiences

Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and refine sales positioning

Conduct regular performance reviews with team members and provide coaching to enhance sales skills and productivity

Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management

Represent the organization at industry events, networking functions, and community engagements to build brand awareness

Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain professional standards in all client interactions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field

Minimum 4-5 years of sales management experience, with at least 2 years in the wedding and social event industry

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop sales professionals

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Indonesian

Proficiency with CRM software and sales management tools

Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management and consultative selling

Strong negotiation and contract management abilities

Knowledge of the Jakarta event market and local vendor networks

Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable insights

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Results-oriented mindset with a customerโ€‘centric approach

Willingness to travel locally as needed for client meetings and events
