(Senior) Commodity Specialist

Responsibilities: Source for Electronics, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical components to support new projects Able to perform cost analysis and select best supplier to meet the product requirement Responsible in managing the relationship with the suppliers for all commercial issues Perform cost reduction, VA/VE activities, etc. to achieve the KPIs set by management such as the material cost reduction target To be able to implement supply management strategies and activities such as VMI, JIT, EDI capabilities, etc. Be the escalation point when there are delivery issues during the MP and NPI stages Management of SAP data integrity

Requirements: At least a Diploma in Engineering Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the EMS or electronic manufacturing environment Experience in sourcing, purchasing or procuring of Electronics, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical components Strong knowledge in Electronics, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical commodities Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage
