Responsibilities
Weโre looking for a creative generalist with a digital-first mindset to join our team as a Social Media Specialist. This role blends digital marketing thinking, creative production, and content strategy into one. Youโll be part of a dynamic marketing & communications team that shapes how blu by BCA Digital connects with its audiences across platforms.
What Will You Do
Strong ability to plan content based on market trends, digital culture shifts, consumer insights, and the competitive landscape.
Capable of developing action-driven content (for awareness, engagement, consideration, acquisition, and retention) in collaboration with the social media agency.
Deep understanding of social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn, including best practices per format.
Able to conceptualize engaging, informative, and on-brand content (human, playful, witty, and educational)
Understands basic design principles and can provide clear creative briefs to designers, videographers, and agencies.
Strong copywriting skills with consistency in tone of voice and clarity.
Skilled in interpreting data from Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio, and other analytics tools.
Able to prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights to improve future content.
Manages end-to-end content production: ideation, scripting, briefing, coordination, revisions, approvals, and posting.
Handles community management (comments, DMs, basic sentiment) with quick and brand-appropriate responses.
Leads coordination with the social media agency to ensure timelines, quality, and output meet bluโs expectations.
Requirements
What You Need To Have
Bachelorโs degree in Communication, Marketing, Digital Media, Social Sciences, or related fields.
2โ4 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or a similar role in digital or creative agencies.
Experience handling medium to large-scale brand social media accounts is preferred, especially within financial services or digital products.
Highly observant of digital trends, pop culture moments, and shifts in user behavior.
Detail-oriented with strong brand consistency awareness.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional and agency collaboration.
Strong problem-solving mindset, especially for last-minute changes or publication issues.
Able to develop monthly and quarterly content plans aligned with marketing objectives, brand identity, and ongoing campaigns.
Understands key KPIs: reach, impressions, ER%, CTR, VTR, audience growth, and sentiment analysis.
Able to work in a fast-paced, agile, and dynamic environment.
