Prepare and improve sample analysis method to get the best analysis result with high accuracy and precision. Organize for proficiency test with accredited external laboratory including reporting the result of proficiency test in the technical report.

Maintain all equipment in good condition and ready for use, including repair of equipment if needed by own effort or supported by MTD/vendor. Review the analysis equipment standard verification by putting the sign and conduct follow-up action if the verification result is out of the norm.

Control chemical and spare part usage, prepare Purchase Requisition (PR) for chemicals and spare parts supporting analysis, including conduct Technical Evaluation in procurement process.

Create, maintain and control analysis data reports in SAP for data in process and finished product. Prepare technical reports, monthly reports related to special projects, analysis method development and monthly data to be shared with related sections or internal requirements.

Coordinate with production, Offsite marine and Commercial divisions for raw material analysis preparation before unloading and product sampling before loading to ship/lorry, including sampling apparatus and Product Quality Certificate.

Ensure implementation of system management Security, Safety, Quality, Energy, Environment, and Laboratory Management System (ISO 17025).

Review the results of verification analysis methods and follow up if the verification exceeds acceptable criteria.

Conduct safety and housekeeping activities based on SMK3 management system.

Support related sections or departments to achieve plant improvement and efficiency.

Responsible for monitoring, supervision and evaluation of testing implementation in the laboratory to ensure compliance with LQMS (Laboratory Quality Management System).

Demonstrate commitment to OHS Management; ensure that employees under supervision implement OHS Management, and lead/participate in OHS-related activities within the company.

Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Chemistry

Minimum 6 years experience in a Supervisory level in a Manufacturing Company and Chemical, preferably in oil & gas laboratory (Petrochemical).

Experience in EDC / Alkali industries

Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Familiar with MS Office

Employment details This is a permanent position with a 3-month probationary period and will be placed on site, Cilegon.
