Head of Tanker Fleet Operations

Responsible for leading the efficient and safe management of the company's fleet of tanker vessels.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the tanker fleet, ensuring vessels are effectively utilised and maintained to the highest standards.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimise fleet performance, safety and compliance.

Manage a team of operations personnel, providing leadership, coaching and performance management.

Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to coordinate logistics, scheduling and resource allocation.

Analyse fleet data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

Ensure the tanker fleet meets all relevant regulatory and industry requirements.

Lead the development and rollout of new technologies and systems to enhance fleet operations.

Qualifications

Certificate: Master Mariner (ANT I).

Strong technical knowledge of tanker vessel operations, maintenance and regulations.

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of operations professionals.

Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making and risk‑management skills.

Proficient in data analysis and using technology to drive operational efficiencies.

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
