Tax Officer

About the role Reporting to the Tax Manager, this full-time Tax Officer position at PT Nusantara Pelabuhan Handal Tbk in North Jakarta, Jakarta Raya, will play a key role in supporting the company's tax compliance and planning strategies.

What you’ll be doing

Preparing and filing accurate and timely tax returns and supporting documentation.

Calculating and ensuring the correct payment of various taxes including corporate income tax, value‑added tax, and withholding taxes.

Performing reconciliation between financial statements and tax reports (equalization) to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Maintaining organized and accurate tax records and supporting documents for audit purposes.

Preparing for and handling tax audits.

Ensuring continuous compliance by staying up to date with the latest tax laws and regulations.

What we’re looking for

Minimum Associate Degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field.

Minimum

3 years of experience

in a tax accounting or tax compliance role.

Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify tax optimisation opportunities.

Proficient in using coretax.

Certified Brevet A & B.

Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Experienced in handling tax audits, SP2DK, reconciliations, and reporting.
