Head of Finance - EV

The Head of Finance will oversee all financial operations and provide strategic direction within the electric vehicle (EV) industry. This role requires strong expertise in accounting and finance to drive business performance effectively.

Client Details Our client is a fast-growing electric vehicle (EV) company. They are building scalable financial infrastructure and seeking a finance leader to support their growth.

Description As a Head of Finance, your main responsibilities will include:

Overseeing all financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Developing financial strategies to support business goals.

Building and implementing SOPs, workflows, internal controls, and fraud‑mitigation frameworks in a fast‑growing environment.

Managing financial reporting and consolidation, ensuring accuracy and transparency.

Leading and mentoring the finance team.

Collaborating with stakeholders to optimise financial performance.

Managing investor relations, fundraising and due diligence activities, and external financial stakeholders.

Profile

At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable university.

Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, CA, or equivalent are advantageous.

Proven expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning.

Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively with local and international stakeholders.

Exposure to startup or high‑growth environments, including building systems and processes.

Experience with system migration or implementation (e.g., Oracle, Odoo, etc.)
