The Role: East Asia Technology Drives Sales Manager
Position Summary
This role is responsible for leading application initiatives for drives portfolio for building sales enablement/business development aspects, support and drive sales engagement with respective country teams within East Asia Operations.
Single Point of Contact for Application Development/GTM
Act as a single point of contact & work closely with the respective country teams
Ownership of drives applications growth ambition in targeted segments
Ensure the positioning of Drives portfolio in applications initiatives & focus growth areas
Sales Enablement
Responsible for adjusting the value proposition by applications
Competences improvement for country teams into Building & Infrastructure, Industry
Proactive on the prescription to End User / Design Firms
Approved Vendor List mapping
Bi-monthly Opportunity mapping
Support the sales, presales, prescription team with relevant information
Collaboration with Global and Regional Hub
Coordinate the segment related priorities
Differentiated service level
Cost competitiveness
Community Management
Create a community of operations, segment, applications & line of business
Strong advocacy & communication of segment value prop
Analytics
Build a strong data-based analysis & view on segment view
How to capture future trends on segments/applications
Monitoring: Business & technology
Be a role model as a leader to promote Drives application scope across the internal & external communities
What will you do?
Build and maintain a high-performance culture while collaborating with country team, business units and support functions with winning strategies
Act as SPOC for a defined applications/segments
Be able to lead sales enablement initiatives and boost campaigns for the Drives
Responsible for the identification and implementation of strategic growth and transformation activities
Work closely with offer marketing and internal stakeholders to position our Drives portfolio as a leader in the market, Low Voltage & Medium Voltage.
Be current with most Drives Applications offerings and solutions to be seen as a subject matter expert
Be able to conduct market analysis to identify gaps in the market and position our company and our offerings for success
Engagement with Stakeholders
Work closely with teams:
Segment/Application teams
Build and maintain a relationship of trust and collaboration between Schneider Electric’s stakeholders and our strategic partners while at the same time driving sales enablement
Pipeline reviews to ensure the teams are maintaining a short- and medium-term focus
Be seen as a trusted advisor
Identify and remove obstacles for commercial success to improve hit-rate

Feedback from respective stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate
Must be a hands-on techno-commercially on drives & segments/application. Technology enthusiast who is curious to know about the future development of the market and give clear direction for the country business team.
Must be self-motivated and driven with a “must win” mindset and a desire to be successful. Being able to work independently but also as part of a team in a matrix organization is essential to this role. Be able to influence and motivate individuals and stakeholders that do not report to him, to achieve shared KPI’s through a collaborative and synergistic approach.
What qualifications will make you successful?
Degree in engineering
Strong drives experience in Variable Speed Drives & LV/MV System Drives
Deep knowledge of segment/application
Minimum of 10 years, solution/application experience
Collaborator, initiator & tech-savvy
Fluent in English, Speaking Chinese, multilingual beneficial
