Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our growing remote team. This is a professionally rewarding role for highly skilled experts who want to operate at the pinnacle of financial modeling and valuation. You will collaborate directly with U.S. investment bankers—including Managing Directors—lead advanced modeling projects and help shape the future of our international finance team. You will initially manage one Financial Analyst, with the expectation that the team will grow with additional analysts as the firm scales. Key Responsibilities : Lead historical financial statement analysis (P&L, working capital, capex) using pivot tables and trial balances. Build and oversee bottom-up three-statement models, including: Detailed P&L with headcount drivers Revenue forecasts driven by bookings and backlog burndown Probability-weighted pipeline forecasts by named opportunity Conduct advanced financial and valuation analyses including publicly-traded comparables, precedent M&A transactions, discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, and EPS accretion/dilution analyses. Develop and track investment banking KPIs including deal progression metrics, transaction comparables, and valuation benchmarks. Manage model updates and roll-forwards, ensuring accurate variance analysis (actual vs. forecast). Develop financial and valuation analysis for client memoranda, pitch materials, and prospect presentations; support related activities in pre- and post-marketing due diligence. Review and refine junior team members’ work, ensuring adherence to the company’s world-class standards. Qualifications (Must-Have) : Fluent English (written and spoken). 5+ years of investment banking or transaction services experience (strongly preferred). Candidates with exceptional FP&A skills will also be considered, provided they have hands-on experience building bottom-up, three-statement financial models. Exceptional Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, scenario analysis; macro experience a plus). Strong accounting foundation and ability to interpret U.S. GAAP financials. Proven ability to build and present sophisticated models in an investment banking context. Strong writing and communication skills to summarize and explain financial and valuation trends concisely and on deadline. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Availability during U.S. business hours overlap. Preferred Experience: Background in investment banking, corporate development, or transaction services. Experience building KPI frameworks for deal teams or transaction processes. Proficiency in PowerPoint; experience with CapitalIQ strongly preferred. Aptitude for technology and interest in AI-enabled workflows. CFA designation (completed or in progress) strongly preferred. Progress toward other professional finance certifications (e.g., ACCA) is a plus.
