Capital Market Research Officer

We are seeking bright professionals to join our organization as a Capital Market Research Officer. In this position, you will be conducting thorough research involves gathering materials, analyzing qualitative and quantitative market studies, managing indices, surveys, and presentations for users. Additionally, responsibilities include organizing files and databases, while maintaining effective communication and coordination with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct research, studies, and analysis with actionable recommendations to support the development of the Indonesian Capital Market, taking into account global market trends, trading practices, products, investors, and regulatory developments, in alignment with IDX strategic objectives.

Perform periodic thematic research and execute analytical assignments requested by internal and external stakeholders (e.g., divisions/units, management, OJK), including comprehensive survey execution (design, monitoring, analysis, and reporting).

Manage and analyze trading and market data, including index review, margin stock selection, industry classification of Listed Companies, and preparation of required securities lists to ensure fulfilment of IDX regulatory obligations.

Develop market insights through qualitative and quantitative analysis, transform findings into clear reports and presentations, and deliver results effectively to stakeholders.

Maintain structured research workflows, databases, and administrative processes, while coordinating and communicating effectively with relevant internal and external parties to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications What You’ll Deliver: Education

Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Data Science/ Statistics.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of working experience, preferably in the capital market or financial industry, with at least 2 years in research-related activities.

Technical Skills

Research methodology & analytical reporting

Data analysis, database management, and index review

Survey design & quantitative–qualitative data processing

Advanced Excel (incl. Macros), VB & SQL

Market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Limesurvey)

Soft Skills

Analytical & critical thinking

Clear communication & presentation skills

Stakeholder coordination & teamwork

Organized and able to manage multiple tasks

General Requirements

Minimum GPA min. 3.00 (out of 4.00)

Computer literate (Microsoft Office, MS Excel, & Power Point)

Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English (verbal and written)

Knowledge of Capital Market will be an advantage.
