Job Description
Responsibilities
Execute standard sales functions such as sales prospecting, following up on sales leads, making sales presentations, assessing customersโ needs, submitting quotations, negotiating and offering solutions so as to secure orders to meet annual sales target.
Prepare quotations and tenders, negotiate terms & conditions such as prices, term of payment, liquidated damages, liabilities, delivery, specifications, etc., and check all commercial terms of offer and order of acceptance prior to closing sales so as to ensure compliance with Levels of Authority and other relevant company policies.
This includes participating in sales presentation meetings with customers to introduce, promote and sell company products and recommend solutions whenever necessary to help secure potential orders and increase sales growth.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of Project Specification Sheets (PSS) for each sales order in order to facilitate effective kick-off handover to Project Department in a clear and timely manner.
Liaise with Product Management & Team to check on progress of existing orders and coordinate with related party/department to keep track of timely delivery of all sales commitments to customers in accordance with signed contracts so as to ensure smooth sales execution and meet overall customer satisfaction.
Complete documentation of sales visits, quoted opportunities, and project data timely in the Customer Relationship Management (C4C) System and the Project Management databases respectively so as to ensure that such market and customer intelligence information are accurately captured for future market analysis.
Conduct market research whenever necessary in order to determine market needs and to keep abreast of new market developments and competitorsโ activities.
Monitor the payment due dates for each account and follow up closely with customers to ensure timely collection of overdue payments in order to meet company objectives and timelines for Account Receivables.
Maintain relationships with customers by providing the necessary support, information, and recommending solutions and service improvements whenever applicable so as to build strong rapport and lasting business relationships.
Achieve personal yearly budget based on company setup.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Salesperson (preferably as a Sales Engineer)
Target-oriented
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Strong background in warehousing equipment, forklifts, docking equipment, and industrial door systems
Established relationships with customers in relevant markets such as: Industrial, Logistics, Warehouse providers, Building contractors, Building consultants and Factory consultants
Strong experience in project management and project handling
Knowledge of racking systems is an advantage
Good command in English
