We are looking for a

Field Accountant

to join our team. In this role, you will prepare financial analyses for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that often lack formal financial records. You’ll develop six-month profit and loss statements and create balance sheets using data collected through on-site visits to borrower business locations.

Key Responsibilities Field Data Collection

Conduct site visits to gather financial data from potential borrowers, including informal records and transactions.

Engage with business owners to understand their operations and financial practices.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

Develop six-month profit and loss statements and the latest balance sheets based on collected data.

Analyze financial data to project cash flows and assess borrower profitability.

Audit business activities and financial performance for SMEs.

Loan Assessment

Evaluate the financial health of businesses to determine their loan repayment capacity.

Collaborate with the credit team to recommend loan amounts and terms.

Documentation & Communication

Accurately document financial data and analyses to support loan decisions.

Maintain clear communication with the lending team and borrowers to ensure transparency in financial assessments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or auditing, with a preference for field accounting experience.

Strong analytical skills, especially in interpreting informal financial data.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assessments simultaneously.

Self-motivated and able to conduct thorough site visits independently.
