Job Description
Requirements:
ERP & POS Systems Expertise: Deep understanding of ERP modules (Inventory, Purchasing, Finance, HR) and POS systems, preferably in F&B/hospitality retail.
API & Integration Knowledge: Ability to analyze, design, and document system integrations (RESTful APIs, gRPC, webhooks, payment gateways).
Database Expertise: Strong SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) proficiency, database optimization, indexing, and query performance tuning will become very plus point.
Business Process Modelling (BPMN): Ability to map workflows for reservation, ordering, inventory, and customer management.
Data Analytics & Visualization: Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, Looker) to create dashboards and operational reports.
UI/UX Familiarity: Ability to work closely with designers to translate business needs into intuitive interfaces.
Payment & Ordering Systems Knowledge: Exposure to online ordering flows, QR-based self-ordering, split billing, and loyalty systems.
Business & Domain Knowledge:
Hospitality & F&B Knowledge: Understanding of restaurant/kitchen workflows, inventory cycles, and guest experience requirements.
Reservation Engine Logic: Knowledge of seating logic, capacity management, overbooking, and table assignment algorithms.
BackOffice/Finance Understanding: Familiarity with reconciliation, reporting, tax rules, and financial workflows tied to POS.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate business pain points into system specs.
Stakeholder Communication: Able to run workshops with restaurant staff, management, and tech teams.
Agile/Scrum Experience: Comfortable in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Jira/Asana/Trello tools.
Experience Requirements:
2–5 years as a Business/System Analyst in POS/ERP or e-commerce platforms.
Experience in digital transformation projects for retail or F&B businesses.
Proven track record of requirement gathering & gap analysis.
Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with self-order kiosks/tablet systems and integrations with kitchen display systems (KDS).
Experience in loyalty programs & CRM integration.
Exposure to multi-location operations and franchise scalability challenges.
